On this we ask you to give gratitude to Ava K., a fourth grader at South Ridge Elementary School in Ridgefield, Washington. Ava's hard work and giving spirit means that TPN's Center for Family Success received 75 warm and wonderful winter coats (sizes for every age!) for our program participants. Another organization, Correct Connect also received 50 coats! Give it up for Ava, and her coat drive with One Warm Coat - because of you, Ava, we can give!

Prisons are ineffective, expensive, and inherently racist. It’s time to shrink the prison system and innovate with local strategies that work. State Lawmakers are discussing closing Oregon prisons now. Send them an email and let them know you agree: https://safetyandjustice.org/takeaction/

The rate of population growth in our prisons is exponentially larger than the overall population. Shrinking the state's prison system and reinvesting in community healing and restoration is one way to address the over policing and over prosecution of Black, Indigenous, people of color, and poor people.
