Worldwide Seminarian Support Support the Catholic Church for generations to come. The ALCP Seminary in Moshi is educating men from numerous nations in Africa.

Help us to raise money for seminarians worldwide who would not otherwise have the tuition funding to become priests. There is a large influx of men hearing the calling from God to become priests in many third world nations and WSS works to raise support and help fund their education. We currently are funding seminarians in Tanzania, Nigeria, and seminarians in India.

Right now, Bro. Ragulson Vincent is in Pune, studying theology, a long way from the village of Parugambattu where he grew up. That's not unusual for seminarians, but it's still worth noticing what it costs a young man to be that far from home for this long.

He entered the seminary back in 2015 and completed his regency at the Suryapet Formation House before moving to Pune. His home archdiocese, Pondicherry-Cuddalore, marks 250 years this year, one of the oldest Catholic communities in South India.

The chances are that a priest at your own home parish was born outside the U.S. Fewer new priests are coming from American seminaries now, and more are coming from formation programs like the one Ragulson is in.

Give through WSS, and 100% of your donation goes to Ragulson: his tuition, his room, his board, for as long as it takes him to finish.

Br. Bodella Prasad's family has worshiped at St. Joseph Church in Chagalamarry his whole life. It's a small parish in a diocese that has only stood on its own since 1967, when it was carved out of the much larger Diocese of Nellore.

He entered the seminary in 2016. Minor seminary, philosophy, a regency in Pennagaram, and then theology beginning in 2025.
The West still holds the largest share of the world's working priests, but a much smaller share of the men currently training to become one.

Donate through WSS, and every cent goes to Prasad by name: his tuition, his room and board, the actual cost of training him.

Some dioceses have been around for many centuries. Bro. Dumpala Venu's diocese, Khammam in Telangana, has only existed since 1988. The state itself, Telangana, is even younger, created in 2014. Venu, baptized Sunil, comes from a village called Thutikuntla.

He entered the seminary in 2016, and after finishing his regency at the Suryapet Formation House, began his first year of theology in 2025.

Priest numbers have been climbing across parts of Africa and Asia even as they've kept falling across Europe and North America.

Give through WSS, and 100% of it lands directly in Sunil's formation fund: tuition, housing, everything he needs to keep going.

Chagalamarri: a farming town on the dry Rayalaseema plateau of Andhra Pradesh, far from any coastline or old cathedral city. It's where Bro. Narsigalla Sumanth grew up, before the road to the priesthood took him to Hyderabad.

The community he joined, the Apostolic Life Community of Priests, started in a small parish in Germany in 1974 and reached Andhra Pradesh in 1981.

He entered the seminary in 2016 and spent his regency year in Hyderabad before starting theology in 2025. When you give through WSS, every dollar goes straight to Sumanth's formation: his tuition, his room, his meals, with no overhead skimmed off along the way.

With a Notre Dame FCU ELEVATE debit or credit card, you get 1% back on every purchase, sent straight to your chosen nonprofit. Spend around $2,500 a month on normal stuff (groceries, gas, bills), and that's about $300 a year, at no cost to you.

Choose Worldwide Seminarian Support as your nonprofit, and it takes about 5 people banking that way to cover one seminarian's full year of tuition, which runs around $1,500.

There's a small detail in Br. Mullaiventhan's file that's easy to skim past: his home parish in Attipakkam is named for Our Lady of Good Health, the same title given to Mary at the shrine in Vailankanni, the place Pope John XXIII once called "the Lourdes of the East." That's the devotion he grew up praying under.

He entered the seminary in 2016. Minor seminary, philosophy, a regency placement, then theology starting in 2025.

His archdiocese, Pondicherry-Cuddalore, turns 250 this year. Priests have been serving that coastline since 1674. This year, more than a third of the men ordained as priests in the United States were born outside the country.

By donating through WSS, 100% of your gift goes directly to his tuition, room, and board; nothing is held back for anything else.
