We just can't stop talking about stream connectivity!💦🐟🌊

The Gulf of Maine Coastal Program initiated the nation's most comprehensive statewide inventory of barriers to stream connectivity, and has been partnering with many organizations over the past 13 years to continue to build the database.

2019 will mark the final year of intensive surveys, allowing GOMCP and partners to use the data to identify priority restoration sites in combination with extensive habitat datasets!

Gulf of Maine Council 2016 Awards
Call for Nominations
Deadline: March 31st

The Gulf of Maine Council is now accepting nominations for our 2016 awards to recognize volunteers, professionals, businesses, and organizations for outstanding efforts to promote a healthy Gulf of Maine ecosystem. The Council is seeking award nominees from Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Maine, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts. Help us celebrate the accomplishments of unsung heroes working to ensure that Gulf of Maine resources are protected for future generations. Awards will be presented in June at a special ceremony in Fredericton, New Brunswick.
