Last night, we had the opportunity to visit Hendrix in Indianapolis.
🥎 Our sweet softball girl is continuing her recovery following a heart transplant. She was so excited to receive the gifts and donations collected through last week’s lemonade stand fundraiser. The support raised from the event totaled nearly $1,000 in addition to gift cards and other gifts that will bless Hendrix and her family 🤩
🙌 Thank you to all of the teams, families, and supporters who showed their love and generosity. We know she will treasure the notes, cards, and words of encouragement as well.
The road ahead will be long, but the many miracles they’ve already witnessed give hope for a bright future—one that we all pray includes seeing Hendrix back on the softball diamond doing what she loves.
Before leaving, we were honored to pray with Hendrix and her mom, asking the Lord to surround them with His protection, strength, peace, and encouragement in the days ahead.
