ποΈ Programs and Gallery Manager led an amazing God's Eye workshop at the ParkRose village. We collaborate with WeShine to teach arts workshops in their transitional shelter villages around the city.
𧡠This traditional craft, Siβkuli (Huichol), or Ojo de Dios (Spanish), or Godβs Eye, is made by weaving colorful yard around wooden sticks as a tool for prayer and protection. Originating with the Huichol and Tepehuan peoples of Mexico and the Aymara of Bolivia, it symbolizes the power to see and understand unseen things.
