Hey look! It’s our very own hardworking Board President Barry Sheff making news at his day job over at Woodard & Curran!

In recognition of National Public Works Week, we’re proud to highlight the work happening across our industry and communities.

In the latest American Public Works Association Reporter, our own Barry Sheff collaborated with Christine Whelan at Maine Emergency Management Agency (MEMA) to share how the FEMA Hazard Mitigation Grant Program helps communities recovering from a natural disaster rebuild with resiliency.

We are thrilled 🎉 to announce Florida Gulf Coast University is our newest recipient. FGCU will use our $100K grant for Southwest Florida Mangrove Restoration & Enhancement Dashboard Development. This project will provide a much-needed dashboard for agencies, universities and other actively engaged organizations to see the real time status of the forests/swamps that provide vital flood control functions in the region.
