Wildfires. Smoke. It's a lot. If you need help, there's a non-emergency hotline available 24/7.

Ecumenical Ministries of Oregon

People anywhere in Oregon who have been affected by wildfires or wildfire-related air quality can call 1-833-669-0554 for support. The hotline is available 24/7 and is staffed by 211info.

Anyone experiencing any wildfire-related impact can call, including those who:
- Lost a home or property
- Evacuated and have ongoing needs
- Are sheltering in place and have wildfire-related needs
- Are affected by wildfire smoke or poor air quality
- Have another need or concern caused by a wildfire

There's also a web form that people can fill out with wildfire related needs. ODHS staff review the information and follow up. You can access the web form here: https://uniteus.com/networks/oregon/get-help/oregonwildfires/

One more thing - the hotline and web form should not be used for emergencies. If you are in immediate danger, have a medical emergency, or need emergency help evacuating, call 911.

Happy Earth Day! At EMO, we are working towards building resilient communities through advocacy, education, preparedness, and innovation. We see that our climate is changing and understand that it is our shared responsibility to work together as a community to build resilience for our common home. In less than one month, on Sunday May 17th, our Creation Justice team will host our annual Interfaith Earth Summit, to reflect and learn more about how together we can care for our planet and our communities.

We encourage you to follow our Creation Justice Page and sign up for their newsletter to learn more about the work they do all year!

💚⚖👩‍⚖️ TODAY, April 13, 2026, youth plaintiffs in Lighthiser v. Trump are appearing before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit in Portland, OR.
✅ Watch the hearing: https://www.ca9.uscourts.gov/media/live-oral-arguments/watch/?id=15586999992568
✅ Support our youth @ https://www.ourchildrenstrust.org/ Our Children's Trust Public Justice

The youth are challenging three executive orders issued by President Trump that aim to “unleash” fossil fuels, block renewable energy development, suppress climate science, and worsen the climate crisis. They’re asking the Court of Appeals to allow their case to proceed to trial so the courts can review whether these actions violate their constitutional rights to life and liberty.
