Big Horn Brass

The hallmark of Big Horn Brass performance repertoire is diversity and originality. The alphorn is a 2000-year-old tradition.

Programs include classical, romantic, renaissance, ragtime, marches, brass band, patriotic, civil war, movie themes, contemporary, original, and even big band charts. You will see and hear the brass family of trumpets, horns, trombones, euphonium, and tuba along with percussion. In addition to the modern brass family you will be delighted to here the traditional Swiss alphorn.

This year we're celebrating things old AND new. We'll start with vintage music from years 1941 through 1953, tunes many of us grew up with and our grandchildren still sing – songs like "Santa Claus is Coming to Town" and "Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer". And don't forget those dreamy songs, like "White Christmas"...

Then we will mix things up with new favorites (Big Daddy's Sleigh Ride!) and traditional carols – something for everyone!

We are very excited about collaborating with ISing Choir for their upcoming concert series, Sanctuary.

This program will feature the music of Karl Jenkins. Specifically from his series, Adiemus: Songs of Sanctuary.

In this time of stress and uncertainty, these concerts are well programmed and well timed.

Think of this concert series as a reset for your soul.
