Celebrating Our Amazing SUN Team:
September 13–19 is Community School Coordinator Appreciation Week, and we are excited to recognize two incredible members of our Powell Butte community: Tara, our SUN Site Manager, and Christine, our P3 Coordinator!

Tara and Christine play an important role in making Powell Butte a welcoming and supportive place for our students and families. Through their work with our SUN Community School program, they help connect families with resources, create opportunities for students, strengthen community partnerships, lead programming during the school day and after school and provide support wherever it is needed.

We are incredibly grateful for the care, energy, and dedication Tara and Christine bring to Powell Butte. Their work helps strengthen the connections between our school, our families, and our community and we are so fortunate to have them as part of our Coyote family!

Please join us this week in giving Tara and Christine a big Powell Butte THANK YOU for everything they do for our students, families, and staff!

We are moving to a new page, soon this Powell Butte Parent Teacher club page will be removed and we’ll be actively updating the page that includes “Elementary” in the name.

We hope you will come find some wonderful books to purchase and we need volunteers to help sell the books! Proceeds support teachers with purchasing books for their classrooms.
