Kintsukuroi was shown in Portland at the Clinton Street Theater last Saturday. It was made with love as almost all of the crew, actors and producers had a direct connection to the WWII incarceration experience of Japanese Americans. It covered issues like father/son disagreements, going to war and refusing to go to war.

August 28 marks the 63rd anniversary of the March on Washington, and sadly, there are many rights still under threat today. This year, countless organizations and supporters will march again to defend voting rights, civil rights, and economic justice.
