Maine Archives and Museums We represent Maine's museums, archives, historical societies and other collecting institutions. Membership is open to institutions and individuals.

Our Annual Conference offers opportunities to gather with others with similar interests in Maine history, living collections, and culture to share ideas, network, and review and acquire the skills to manage our state’s cultural resources. Our workshop series offers professional development opportunities to volunteers and staff representing Maine's collecting institutions. Our newsletter and website keep our members informed in matters of interest to our allied fields. Consider becoming a member today!

We've got a fantastic event line up this fall. Next up, we'll be joining our friends at Victoria Mansion on October 22. Textiles come with their own set of challenges, whether they're clothes, carpets, curtains, or upholstered furniture, and Victoria Mansion has all of that and more! Come see their textile storage room and learn practical, affordable solutions to care for, store, and display the textiles in your collection. This in person workshop is just $30 for members and $40 for nonmembers.
