Friends of Willow

Friends of Willow We rescue, educate, and adopt out rabbits in So. Maine! We operate out of the Greater Portland area.

As of February 11, 2013 Friends of Willow is an exempt organization eligible to receive tax-deductible charitable contributions! We'll strive to support our local community and area shelters as well as the Greater New England region. Friends of Willow was founded in 2011 by a group of volunteers with a common interest in rescuing and rehabilitating domestic rabbits. Our mission will lie in saving

and rehoming rabbits who have been surrendered, abandoned and abused. Many of our members have core animal sheltering experience and as part of that we use our skills to educate the public about proper rabbit care and sustaining a healthy relationship with your furry family member.

It breaks my heart to have to say this. Our matriarch Willow has crossed the rainbow bridge. We find comfort in knowing Willow impacted hundreds of lives in her short 14 years on this earth.

At 14 years old Willow is dealing with the kind of things that come with old age. Casey will read to her every single post wishing her well. Thank you all!

I would like to challenge everyone on Facebook. On Betty White's 100th birthday January 17, everyone should pick a local rescue or animal sanctuary in your area and donate just $5.00 in Betty White's name.
