It’s Tuesday which means it’s Teammate Tuesday Time here at College Housing Northwest!

Jil is one of our Resident Ambassadors at University District, a CHNW property in the heart of downtown Portland.

She loves good red wine, picnics, sunsets, and long walks exploring the city. Jil is graduating this term from Portland State University with a degree in Art Practices and a minor in Art History.

She’ll be starting graduate studies at Pacific Northwest College of Art in the fall studying Applied Craft and Design where she’ll be studying textiles and furniture design.

Cool off!

Fill a large bowl with ice water and set a timer for 15 to 30 seconds.

Then take a deep breath and hold it, dipping your face into the water.

This activates your body’s dive response: Your heartrate slows and blood can flow more easily to your brain.

It’s Tuesday which means it’s Teammate Tuesday Time here at College Housing Northwest!

Johnny is our senior custodian at Goose Hollow Tower and Plaza, one of CHNW apartment communities near PSU.

His favorite part of working for CHNW is his wonderful and kind teammates.

This is the first organization he’s worked for where he truly feels part of a team he said.

A fun fact to share about Johnny is that he used to work in Russia and Kazakhstan creating security for satellite launches!
