Hey, all! 😆

Viking Motorsports will be tabling at MESA Day 2026! These students have worked hard all year on STEM projects and are coming to compete in engineering challenges and learn about what PSU has to offer. We can’t wait to share with them how PSU students gain real-world experience through designing, building, and engineering cars. We'll also be showing and driving our Baja 2026 vehicle.⚡

Baja SAE Oregon 2026 complete! ✅🎉

This has been a memorable and rewarding experience for Viking Motorsports! We scored some points throughout the weekend and succeeded in the tests. We are grateful for everything we learned and for the opportunity to connect with industry professionals and other school teams. You could feel the passion for engineering and innovation in the air.

Throughout the weekend, we faced a couple challenges, so we worked quickly but carefully under pressure to pass our technical inspections and produce a drivable, approved vehicle. One of our problems was our CVT overheating, which we worked hard to fix in time for the endurance race. Then, during the race, we ran into some car troubles, but we never gave up on repairing and troubleshooting. Although we did not complete the main endurance race, we gained valuable experience in teamwork, problem solving, and perseverance.

SHOUT OUT to the whole team!! Nothing could have been done without each one of you. 💚
