Veterans Day not only honors the sacrifices of those who served and reminds us of the importance their service and sacrifice are to the liberties we enjoy, but it also calls attention to the ongoing needs of veterans in our communities.
As we observe this day, it is essential to express gratitude and commit to supporting veterans in meaningful ways, ensuring their contributions are recognized and valued throughout the year.
A heartfelt thank you from the PCC VRCs, veterans are the reason we stay inspired to continue doing the work we do. And no one knows better that empty platitudes do nothing to serve our community. So please, write or call your congressman today to insist they fight against taking away VA disability benefits from some of our most vulnerable disabled veterans right now.

Thank you, VRC Staff.

Today, the VRCs honor and celebrate Indigenous People’s Day. Their service and sacrifice shaped our history and played a significant role in many battles’ victories. Yet, they came home to face racism and hardship. Indigenous veterans served honorably in various conflicts despite facing discrimination and being denied benefits. Remember their instrumental contributions to this country.
