Songs for Saplings makes music for kids. We want them to understand who God is and what He has done, Songs for Saplings is the work of Dana Dirksen.

Songs for Saplings is a nonprofit ministry working since 2003 and based in Portland, Oregon. God has supplied us richly with His grace, with the great and deep truths of the Bible, and He has given us gifts to be able to make and share this music with you. It is our prayer that this music will work in the minds and hearts of your children so that they can daily hear the great truths from Scripture

. We want them to learn about their God and how he cares for them, and we hope they learn to love him more through these songs. She and her husband James live in in Portland and have six beautiful children, two delightful and sweet daughters-in-lay, and two adequate grandchildren.
