Bill has been a valued member of the ICF Dietary Department since 2021, and we are incredibly fortunate to have him as part of our team in Scarborough.

He brings a calm and steady presence to the kitchen, creating a positive environment for both staff and clients. Bill is always quick to respond to the needs of others and consistently goes out of his way to brighten our clients’ day.

Bill demonstrates remarkable flexibility and teamwork; he willingly adjusts his schedule and picks up shifts to support his coworkers and ensure coverage when needed. His positive attitude and dedication never go unnoticed.

Congratulations to Justin Bessey who was chosen as one of Casa's Employees of the Month for January 2026!

Justin Bessey has worked at Casa since January 2019 when he started as a DSP and later moved to Assistant Manager and now House Manager. Since taking the manager position, together with his assistant manager, Justin has completely turned around a program that once faced chronic staff turnover, transforming it into a stable, well run home that delivers high quality support.

His motivation has always been rooted in doing what’s right for the people we serve, and that dedication is reflected in every aspect of the program he leads. His compassion, integrity, and steady leadership have made a lasting impact on both staff and clients.

Michael Milliken, HR Director, says, “Years ago, I asked Justin what he wanted most from his work and he stated that he “just wants the clients to get great support”—a simple statement that I feel captures the heart of not just who he is, but who all Casa staff are.”

Congratulations to Helle Jorgensen who has been selected as one of our Employees of the Month for January 2026!

Helle was hired as a DSP in 2014 and currently supports numerous clients as an in-home float. She truly saves the day by picking up shifts—often at the very last minute—to ensure her clients receive the support they need.

Helle is incredibly caring, organized, and dependable, and she consistently keeps her coordinator in the loop. She brings creativity to her work and always strives to help her clients stay happy, healthy, and safe while working toward greater independence.

Her supervisor, Michelle, shares, “Helle is an amazing person, and Casa is incredibly lucky to have her.” Thank you, Helle, for your dedication, flexibility, and the care you show every day—your commitment makes a real difference for the clients you support.
