CrossFit workouts consist of constantly varied, functional movements that deliver a fitness regimen that is broad, inclusive, and general. Workouts are never the same day to day, never getting boring and always keeping your body on its toes!

Thank you to all who made it to the board meeting to speak and support an inclusive physical education program at CHS CrossFit.

Using the methodology of CrossFit in our weight training classes creates an inclusive environment for all students to be successful at meeting goals, pushing their limits, and building self confidence.

We are in need of more FTE @ CHS to help keep all sections of CrossFit opened for the 2019-2020 school year. Without more sections added to the schedule we will have approximately 130 students unable to take the course because there will not be enough room.

Falcon Feathers is a speedy 3 minute AMRAP that starts 2 minutes directly after the conclusion of WOD 3.

Only one athlete jumps at a time.

Once an athlete trips up or misses a jump the next athlete must take over. Team member must continue to work through all 3 athletes in a row.

Score = total jumps at the end of the 3 minute AMRAP

Pro-Tip: work on your transitions between teammates

Thor's Hammer will be your chance to showcase your STRENGTH and STAMINA through a barbell complex of 4 deadlifts, 2 hang power cleans and 1 front squat.

How heavy can you and your teammates get in 10 MINUTES?

1 Barbell for you team and the bar starts empty.

At 3-2-1 go athletes can begin loading the bar.

Collars must be on before attempts can be made.

Athlete must fully extend for both hang power cleans. In other words, the athlete is not permitted to squat clean the second hang power clean.

10 minutes to get a heavy complex.

Score = total poundage for all 3 athletes combined together.
