Our dear sister, Alice Everest, passed away this morning. Alice was a 49 year member of the Eagles. She was a Past Madam President and a 10 Year Secretary of the Ladies Auxiliary #3256. A dependable volunteer and long-serving officer who was always happy to welcome new members and just as quick to take old ones to task, Alice was a beloved and respected fixture of #3256 for over half her life. Anyone who frequented the Twilight Sales of the last 10 years will remember Alice selling grab bags and serving sass. Please raise your glasses in a toast to this one-of-a-kind lady. May she rest in peace.

Evacuees in RVs who are looking for a place to wait thing out are welcome to use the parking lot at the East Portland Eagles Lodge on SE 50th & Hawthorne (4904 SE Hawthorne Blvd, Portland, OR 97215).
Please be considerate of other folks needing access to the space when you park. Our building is closed but we are checking the outdoor outlets to make sure they are live for plug ins if you need power.
