The Colorado Cattlemen's Association (CCA) and the Colorado Cattlemen's Agricultural Land Trust (CCALT) is hosting a land transfer and succession planning workshop entitled "Changing of the Guard," in Loveland, CO, on June 24 from 1-5 p.m. This is their first event targeted specifically for the next generation of farmers and ranchers (you!) and we would love to show our support!

We are just a month away from CFB's first set of Summer Policy Summits! We highly encourage your attendance to learn more about how policy is created through Farm Bureau; you can be a direct influence on what gets discussed at our Annual Meeting in November.

Younger voices are just as, if not more, important than those who have been in Farm Bureau a long time. We need new perspectives, and you can shape the future of CFB. We are thrilled to watch y'all start the next chapter of your lives. As you do, please remember that the YF&R Program is always here to support you and be a place you can come home to. Your County Farm Bureaus will be a great support system as well, and we encourage you to get as involved as you can!

YF&R Crew, we need your help! There are only 6 days left to fill out the Annual AFBF July 4th Cookout Survey, and we would like as many of you as possible to fill it out. You don't even have to go to your local grocery store- just look up the prices online, but make sure you're filling out the true price, not one based on sales.

This survey helps bring awareness of agriculture and changing food prices to the entire country. The link to fill out the survey is FB.org/CookoutSurvey. Each survey filled out counts towards the average, and we need as many as possible to help Colorado's state average! If you have any questions, email [email protected].

As Mental Health Awareness Month draws to a close, please remember that there is free and confidential support available out there for farmers, ranchers, and producers. As long as you contribute to Colorado agriculture in some capacity, you can take advantage of the CAAMHP program. Find out more by going to campforhealth.org.

Registration for the 2026 Summer Policy Summits is officially open! As a reminder, these summits are replacing our traditional Mid-Summer Meeting in order to be more accessible to members by coming to areas around the state. You are welcome to attend any meeting around the state, but we recommend attending the one closest to your location.

NW Summer Policy Summit - Palisade, July 10
- Wine Country Inn, 4 p.m. - 8 p.m.
- Open to all members: ELA Media Training with AFBF’s Johnna Miller, 1:30-3:30 p.m.

SW Summer Policy Summit - Pagosa Springs, July 11
- Ross Aragon Community Center, 12 p.m. - 4 p.m.

NE Summer Policy Summit - Fort Morgan, August 14
- The Block: Commissary Kitchen & Events, 4 - 8 p.m.

SE Summer Policy Summit - Pueblo, August 15
- Pueblo Convention Center, 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.
