Operation Pitch Invasion OPI develops soccer fields and futsal courts in Portland's parks and schools so that kids of all age

Operation Pitch Invasion is a grass-roots charitable offshoot of the Timbers Army and the 107ist (107 Independent Supporters Trust). Formed to help support and grow the game of soccer in the Portland Metro area, OPI works to ensure players of all ages and skill levels have proper playing surfaces to enjoy the beautiful game. Partnering with Portland Parks and Recreation, Portland Public Schools an

d other local entities, OPI utilizes the vast talents of the Timbers Army and 107ist members. Operation Pitch Invasion will help repair, revitalize and repurpose playing fields across Portland to ensure more quality pitches exist. The organization began this process in mid-2010 when it formed with a generous grant from 107ist. OPI has since applied to the IRS for approval as a 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization, meaning any future donations received will be tax-deductible! We hope to hear back on our approval this summer, so make sure to keep your eye out for a few exciting events coming up that should allow us to help spread the word about this community-oriented organization!
