The past couple weeks have had a lot of people talking about domestic violence inside the church, and honestly, we're glad. It's a conversation that's overdue.
We're holding Mica Miller's family in prayer through all of this. Public grief is still grief, and it shouldn't have to be carried alone.
Here's something worth knowing: coercive control doesn't always look like a bruise. Sometimes it's isolation, being watched, or being told God expects you to stay quiet and forgive. That's not faith asking that of you. That's abuse.
If any part of this sounds familiar, we want you to know there's a place for you here. ARMS offers free, faith-based recovery groups for survivors, no cost, no judgment, just people who get it.
