Founded in 2003, we are dedicated to bringing awareness to the power of a veg lifestyle and helping support people in their transition toward making healthier, more sustainable & compassionate food choices. Chinese Garden Tour & Tea and Jade Rabbit Lunch

Ticket Required: https://www.zeffy.com/en-US/ticketing/chinese-garden-tour-and-tea-and-jade-rabbit-lunch : Rain or shine, Northwest VEG will have a fabulous event at Portland's Lan Su Chinese Garden with an optional lunch at Jade Rabbit on Sunday, April 12th. We will meet at the main gate by the ticket office and then be escorted to the Yun Shui TeaHouse. Please check out the food offerings and prices at the Yun Shui TeaHouse and Jade Rabbit. Upon finishing our tea tasting we will be led on a garden tour by Charlie, who has led tours at Lan Su for more than 12 years and is a Northwest VEG member.

Mid-April should be peak bloom for the numerous peonies in the garden. We will start at the tea house for tea and snacks. The tour will follow and will last 45-60 minutes and then folks can check out the gift shop before we drive to Jade Rabbit for a vegan lunch around 1:30 (optional).

We have obtained a special group rate for entry into the garden. If you want to participate in this event, you must purchase a $15 ticket https://www.zeffy.com/en-US/ticketing/chinese-garden-tour-and-tea-and-jade-rabbit-lunch . If you are already a member of the Lan Su Chinese Garden, then please "purchase" a zero-dollar ticket. Tickets do not cover the cost of tea or snacks or the lunch at Jade Rabbit. This event is limited to 15 people.
