🌟 We’re proud to share our impact! 🌟

The Center for African Health & Education reached hundreds of community members through health education & outreach on cancer awareness, vaccinations, communicable disease, pediatric dental health and chronic disease self-management.

We also strengthened our community’s emergency preparedness and climate resilience with training sessions to help families and seniors stay safe.

And through referrals and workforce development, we connected seniors to vital services and trained new Community Health Workers to deliver culturally responsive care.

Together, we’re building a healthier, stronger community! 💛💚💙

The HPV Cancer Workshop has successfully concluded. I would like to extend my gratitude to all participants, community volunteers, professionals, and community members who shared their insights on the importance of cancer prevention, early detection, and diagnosis. I also appreciate the media coverage, particularly from Liban Show Media, who visited us at the Center for African Health & Education. Additionally, I acknowledge the support from the OHSU Knight Cancer Institute Community Partnership Program, which partially funded this project.
