As the hustle and bustle of the New Year, holiday season, and Willamette Week’s Give!Guide comes to an end, we want to say a quick thank you to our Reborn Bikes community, aka you reading this.❤️ As we reflect on our campaign results, we are overwhelmed by the unwavering support that we are given year-round.

We started our Give!Guide journey with a goal of raising at least $30,000 and we are so grateful to have not only reached it, but to have surpassed it. This giving season, we raised a total of $30,703.78. Not only did we reach incredibly high numbers, but we also received a total of 165 donations, 143 new donors and 53 new subscribers. Wow. Our mission is to bring refurbished bicycles and bike education to underserved populations, and because of each donation, new donor, new subscriber, and our wonderful supportive community, we are able to do exactly that.

Wow, what a ride, friends! This year’s Give!Guide season has been nothing short of incredible, and it’s all thanks to YOU. 💚🚴‍♂️

At Reborn Bikes, we work hard year-round to empower and improve lives through wheels, and being a part of Wilamette Week’s Give!Guide this year has truly helped us bring that mission to life. Over the past few months, we’ve felt the love from our amazing community, and we’re very grateful for all of the unwavering support.

And guess what? The finish line is right here! Your generosity has already helped us (and Give!Guide as a whole) acomplish major milestones. But there’s still a chance to make an even bigger impact. Just in time for the holidays, we’ve delivered 400 bicycles to immigrant and refugee families this year through our partnership with Northwest Lutheran Community Services! Seeing the joy on the kids’ and adults’ faces as they ride into new beginnings is what it’s all about.💙🧡💛

This is just a slice of the impact we’ve made in 2024: 9,600 bikes given across the Pacific Northwest through our program and affiliates! Each one symbolizes freedom, opportunity, and connection.🌎

But this kind of magic takes time, treasure, and community. YOU can help us keep the wheels turning:
🚴$25 = 1 kid’s bike
🚴🏽‍♀️$100 = 4 kids’ bikes or 1 adult bike

Thanks to generous donors we are ending the year strong, providing more youth and families with needed, clean transportation—bikes! 🚲

Over the weekend, we joined forces with ORCAS - Oregon Refugee Children Assistance and Services from SEEC (IRCO) Slavic and Eastern European Center, ultimately equipping nearly 100 families with bikes and helmets!

On Tuesday, we attended the Multnomah Athletic Foundation’s community impact awards. We were happy to receive a very special grant for Reborn Bikes and our affiliates! Out of 75+ applications, Reborn Bikes was one of 16 nonprofits selected. We are honored to have received this grant, as it will be used to provide programming for our summer bike camps, fests & rodeos, and refurbishment of thousands of bicycles! 🚲

Thank you for helping us have an impact on the youth and families of the region through movement and silent sports of the bicycle. 🎊❤️
