What a night! Our Celebrating INCLUSION auction last Thursday was a resounding success, and we exceeded our fundraising goal! Huge thanks to our media sponsor WMTW-TV; they are a fabulous supporter of our work. Check out the lovely thank you video that they - along with some adorable kids - made to say thank you to all the donors, sponsors, bidders, guests, speaker and volunteers who made the event shine.

We've been busy! We're wrapping up our school programs for the year and send out a HUGE thank you to all the schools who hosted our inclusion programs this year. Now we turn our attention to our 2026 Celebrating INCLUSION Dinner & Auction on June 18. Check out all the info on our event website https://secure.qgiv.com/event/inclusion26/ Of course we'd love your auction item donations if you'd like to support this fundraiser, such as arts and crafts, jewelry, resturant gift certificates, Maine outings, etc.:

Our annual auction is always a blast, but it's also a great time to highlight our mission and to hear the "why" behind our classroom disabilities awareness and inclusion programs. This year we were honored to hear from three people about their own reasons. In addition to our board chair Dr. Kate McCrann, we loved hearing personal "whys" from two guest speakers: Jane Kilbride Dupuis of the Cumberland/North Yarmouth school system, and Dana Bigelow, a Syracuse University student from Falmouth whose younger sister has a rare genetic disorder. Thank you to Jane and Dana for sharing your personal thoughts on why respect and inclusion matter.
