Looking for a vibrant, affirming community for those who don’t quite fit the mold?
A place where youth and adults can explore their identities, build friendships, and express themselves creatively?
The Rainbow School is a collection of cohorts meeting every other week, September through June, in NE Portland. We offer a radically-inclusive, neuro-affirming environment that honors each person’s unique journey, and welcomes them into a caring community.
There is a space for you and your family here:
Kaleidoscope:
Tuesdays 2-4pm (ages 7–10
>> A playful starting point for exploring self-expression and friendship, especially for neurodivergent kids and deep feelers.
Luminaries:
Tuesdays 4-6pm (ages 10–13)
>> A space to deepen conversations, confidence, and creative practice, with structured projects and peer connection.
Prism:
Wednesdays 3:30-5:30pm (ages 13–17)
>> For teens ready to lead, collaborate, and express themselves with even more freedom and autonomy.
Chroma:
Wednesdays 6-8pm (adults)
>> A gentle, creative cohort for adults in transition seeking connection, inspiration and support.
Each of these cohorts welcomes folks who want a little more room to be themselves, whether you’re growing up or growing into something new.
We are still requiring masks to make sure that even the most vulnerable members of our community have the opportunity to have fun and fabulous experiences. Thank you for understanding!
