Love Our City is a community food pantry. There is a public food box distribution every Tuesday at 6120 NE 57th Ave, Portland, OR, 97218.

Community comes together!

We had an amazing time at Good In The Hood over the weekend! There’s something truly meaningful about seeing so many people show up - rain or shine - to love our city and one another.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our resource table to take some flowers, ask questions, and learn about our mission.

Every act of kindness helps build a city where people experiencing food insecurity can get connected to the resources they need to help them thrive. It was our first time and we loved it!

We welcomed June the best way we know how—serving our community through another day of food distribution.

It is such a gift and privilege to come alongside our neighbors, providing nourishment, connection, and support—not only for people, but for our beloved fur babies as well. 🐾

Every bag of groceries, every conversation, and every wagging tail is a reminder that community care matters. We are grateful for every volunteer, donor, and partner who makes this work possible.

Together, we’re building a stronger, more connected community, one distribution at a time.

2nd Annual Black History Month Market and Celebration 🖤 thank you and all the organizers, sponsors and partners for having us table at this amazing event last Sunday! Thank you to the Love Our City volunteers who showed up with love and provided the community with school supplies, winter coats, diapers and fresh flowers. It was a fantastic event and a joy to be a part of ✨❤️

Tuesday, 2/24 recap: The Whole Foods Market staff from the local Hollywood store volunteered and together they did a fantastic job. 135 delicious and nutritious food boxes were packed for our neighbors in the drive through distribution line, and 35 boxes were packed for folks who came to the walk up table. We are thankful for our partnership with Whole Foods Market and for their dedication and commitment to serving our Portland community.

Tuesday 1/20/26 recap: It was cold winters day at the food pantry today. An awesome crew of volunteers worked hard to prepare and load food boxes, pet food and bouquets of flowers for over 160 people and families.

Tuesday 1/13/26 Recap! Today 35 volunteers packed and distributed generous and nourishing food boxes, fresh flowers and pet food to 160 families and neighbors experiencing food insecurity. It was a great team effort on a cold Portland day.
