A special thank you to Nike for welcoming our Progress athletes to the Philip H. Knight Campus for Phase 1 of Progress Beyond the Game.

Throughout the tour, our athletes learned about Nike’s history, explored the purpose behind different buildings across campus, and learned about the work that takes place inside them. They also got to see the intentionality behind the architecture, design, storytelling, and details throughout the campus.

But the purpose of Progress Beyond the Game is bigger than a campus tour.

Our goal is to expand our athletes’ minds and their vision for what’s possible. We want them to understand that basketball can be more than just a game they play—it can be a vehicle that opens doors, builds relationships, creates opportunities, and introduces them to career paths they may have never considered.

The dream doesn’t have to end when the ball stops bouncing.

Phase 1 was about exposure. Next, our athletes will connect directly with Nike professionals across different career fields before eventually having the opportunity to job shadow in an area that interests them.

🏀 We’re building our teams for the 2026–27 season!

Team Progress will be building teams at the following levels:

• 11U Boys (5th Grade)
• 14U Boys Jr. EYBL (8th Grade)
• 15U Boys Nike (9th Grade)
• 16U Boys Nike (10th Grade)
• 17U Boys Nike (11th Grade)
• Looking to add a 15U Girls Nike team

Beginning Fall 2026, we will no longer offer regional/local high school teams. Our high school program will focus exclusively on our Nike teams moving forward.

High School Nike Team tryouts will take place in October.

Introducing Progress Beyond the Game, a business of sport education program created for current Progress athletes and alumni. The program gives participants firsthand exposure to the many career opportunities available throughout the sports industry.

Phase 1: Campus Tour & Discovery
Participants will tour Nike’s Philip H. Knight Campus, explore the workplace, meet Nike staff, and learn more about the different departments and people behind the business of sport.

Phase 2: Career Connections
Participants will connect directly with Nike professionals to learn what their jobs involve, what their day-to-day responsibilities look like, and how they built their careers. Each participant will then identify the career path that interests them most.

Phase 3: Job Shadowing
Participants will return to campus for a hands-on job-shadowing experience in their selected career area, giving them a closer look at the work, environment, and skills required for that role.
