It’s with a full heart and a bit of bittersweet emotion that I share the official closing of Local Grown. I’ve always believed in the power of community, and that belief isn’t going anywhere — even as I share that Local Grown will be officially closing its doors. Life has taken me in new directions over the past few years, and with work and personal responsibilities growing, I haven’t been able to give this project the time and heart it truly deserves. Still, what we built together in just three short years is something I’ll carry with me forever: 3 incredible co-ed basketball tournaments, 2 unforgettable community dinners, one exciting co-ed roundnet tournament and over $12,000 in scholarships and grants given to kids across Oregon. Local Grown was always about creating space, connection, and opportunity — and thanks to your support, we did exactly that. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for being part of something so meaningful. While this chapter is closing, I have no doubt that the spirit of Local Grown will keep growing — in new ways, in new places, and in all the people who were part of the journey.
Thank you to , , , .vision and many others for their partnerships throughout the years. With the remaining funds, we will be donating it to White Lotus Foundation as they continue to grow and support many of the youth around our community.
Truly, Thank you everyone for the amount of support and love you all have given to not just me, but to Local Grown.
