Beginning at 3PM today, the Warming Shelter at First Parish Portland Unitarian Universalist a 425 Congress Street in Portland will be open to all who need it. Thank you to Greater Portland Peer Services 501c3 for ensuring the safety of all of our community members in the cold and snow of winter.

Good morning Facebook fam!

I have yet to receive any donations from my fund raising. I am very hopeful and have faith something will come through. I'm hoping to send money to a young adult in need financially. No young person should have to deal with debt just for surviving. It would be a huge HELP if someone could send funding. It would be a signifigant weight off their shoulders. To me, helping the homeless, refugees, disabled and young adults is a RESPONSIBILITY to my community.

$3, $5, $10 or even $25 will be super useful and supportive to those suffering. Why not spread the wealth?

Let's see how much we can raise for these folks in need of life changing necessities 🖤🙏

Important if you're thinking of donating!

I am trying to help someone with a car issue (stranded) as well as helping someone stranded (also) between places!! Whatever gets donated to Venmo will be donated: Example 50/50 1 gets $50 the other $50 to these people.

I experienced an assault and I was funding to rebuild my life but now time is everything for 2 stranded people so please don't send me any money to my cashapp or my PayPal because I got necessities for a while!
