Worksystems and Workforce SW Washington, 2 local workforce development boards, have partnered with CompTIA, the world’s leading IT association, to get unemployed people back into the workforce. This intensive eight-week, full-time classroom (virtual) training program covers a technical computer curriculum geared toward the CompTIA A+ certification, along with 2 testing vouchers to earn the certification. Students also learn professional skills to ensure their long-term career success. Graduates are connected to employers for job opportunities.

ELIGIBILITY: This program is sponsored by WorkSource and supports people to begin jobs in the tech industry. Candidates must be:
• Eligible and fully registered with participating WorkSource programs
• Interested in working in IT/tech and comfortable with computers
• Available to participate in full-time, intensive training and work closely with career coaches
• Have a high school diploma or GED equivalent
