We are excited to share that on May 7th at 5:30 at the BLACK Gallery PDX we are holding our 5th Annual Art exhibition: this years theme is "From Turab to Noor"

Muslimahs United presents a group exhibition produced by Samira Brotherson and curated by Meera Norris and

Featuring the art of ten local Muslim women, the exhibition explores identity, memory, and lived experience beyond outside narratives. Rooted in the journey from turab (earth) to noor (light) and the work of upholding the sacredness of life and earth.

A few highlights of the fundraiser include traditional natural henna applications, available on a first-come, first-served basis from 6:30-8:30, included with ticket purchase. The event will also feature an assortment of hors d'oeuvres, including custom hibiscus orange ginger pound cakes crafted by a local baker, as well as light beverages.😍🌿🥰🥂
