Congratulations to our G.O.A.T. (member) of the month for the month of May - Andrea Baca!!

Andrea is currently a freshman and first year member of Monache FFA. Andrea has been an active member participating in Opening/Closing, Creed, and BIG. Her SAE project includes exhibiting market lambs for the Porterville Fair. Andrea’s favorite part of FFA has been competing on Opening/Closing because she loved making new friendships and enjoyed the competition. Outside of FFA, Andrea loves being outdoors and working with animals.

Congratulations Andrea on all your hard work and dedication to our chapter!

Another great day at the Fair! Friday we had many students working Farm Day running their own station or as a guide. Large Animal Round Robin showman also competed- in FFA Senior Emilee German was 1st, Adriana Robles was 2nd, Peyton DeBoer was 4th, and Frank Kidder was 5th; in FFA Junior Armando Robles was 1st and Ashton Blackmon was 2nd! Porterville Fair is back! Monache started off strong with the Hog, Rabbit, Chicken, Dairy, and Dairy Goat show today! We had many class winners, breed champions, and placing in showmanship and members move onto Small Animal Round Robin- Adriana Robles placed 3rd in Senior and Armando Robles placed 2nd in Junior!

Congratulations to our G.O.A.T. (member) of the month for the month of April - Madison Boehme!!

Madison is currently a senior and fourth year member of Monache FFA. Madison has been an active member participating in Opening/Closing and Job Interview. Her SAE project includes exhibiting market hogs, meat chickens, and meat rabbits for the Porterville. Madison’s favorite part of FFA has been when she works with a team and succeeding together, creating a supportive atmosphere. Outside of FFA, Madison is a part of the Monache Swim and Wrestling teams, and enjoys baking and shopping.

Congratulations to our CDE teams that competed at Fresno State Field Day this weekend- Livestock Judging and Grapevine Judging! Livestock Judging had their final contest of their season and Grapevine Judging had State Finals where they placed 2nd High Team Overall with Leilani Gomez placing 3rd High Individual, Jocelyn Carranza placing 4th High Individual, and Andrew Gutierrez placing 5th High Individual!

We’ve had a VERY busy few weeks for Monache FFA! And this week we had our final FFA Meeting of the year - our April FFA Fiesta Meeting where we heard from our Chapter Officer candidates to vote, and enjoyed a senior dunk tank, soccer, and more! Our 2026-2027 Officer team will be announced at our May Awards Banquet!!
