A beautiful day for training! We started with going over patient extrication and the importance of getting a patient out quickly, but safely. Did a bit of mantracking by cutting for sign along a roadway. Afterwards we worked through all our K9 teams' training goals.

Yesterday we were invited to walk in Warminster Township Parks and Recreation Memorial Day parade ending at Warminster VFW Post 6493 & Auxiliary. Thank you all so much for allowing us to participate.

Training started with learning different ways to build an emergency shelter. K9 training followed where we helped each handler with their training goals.

Team Training focused on medical today. We covered patient assessment, stop the bleed, CPR, and splinting an injury. While we have a Medical / Rapid Intervention Team, everyone should have these basic medical skills to be able to take care of the subject and each other during a search or at training.

After celebrating at Delco Gives Closing Ceremony, we were back to training today. Started with covering types of maps, map features, orienting a map with a compass and terrain, and identifying terrain features. K9 training commenced right after with a bit of rain, but we got everyone through their training goals.
