Today reminded me how hard it is to build something from nothing.

Some days it feels like we’re moving forward.
Some days it feels like every door is closed.

But foster youth still age out every single day needing support, housing, guidance, and family.

So we keep going.

Every meeting, every conversation, every connection matters.

Nikki’s House isn’t just about housing.
It’s about making sure young adults aging out of foster care know somebody still believes in them.

It takes a community to change lives.

Nikki’s House is currently seeking volunteers, supporters, and advocates who want to help create a better future for youth aging out of foster care.

Many young adults leave the foster system without stable housing, family support, or guidance. Our mission is to help change that.

We are still in the building phase, which means now is the perfect time for compassionate people to join us on this journey from the beginning.

We welcome:
• Volunteers
• Community leaders
• Mentors
• Donors
• Churches
• Business owners
• Social workers
• Event helpers
• Anyone passionate about helping foster youth succeed

Even simply sharing our mission helps us grow.

If you would like to get involved, send us a message or visit www.Nikkishouse.net.

We’ve taken an important step forward this week with a successful Fire Marshal meeting, gaining the clarity needed to move Nikki’s House toward development.

Now we’re entering a critical phase.
We are actively seeking funding partners to help us secure land and begin building a safe, structured community for youth aging out of foster care.

Current needs include:

• Early-stage funding for land acquisition
• Capital partners for development planning and construction
• Community investors who want to be part of a long-term solution

Nikki’s House is designed to provide not just housing, but stability, structure, and a real path forward for young adults who are often left without support.

If you’re an individual donor, foundation, or organization looking to invest in meaningful, lasting impact—we would value the opportunity to speak with you.

We recently met with the Fire Marshal and received strong guidance on what’s needed to move Nikki’s House forward safely and correctly. With that clarity, we’re now actively seeking land to bring this vision to life.

We are looking for:

• Land in the Tomball, Magnolia, or greater Houston area
• Acreage suitable for residential development
• Sellers, donors, or partners open to working with a nonprofit mission

Nikki’s House is being developed to provide stable housing and support for youth aging out of foster care—young adults who often face homelessness with nowhere to go.

If you own land, know someone who does, or are open to a conversation about selling, donating, or partnering, we would appreciate the opportunity to connect.

This is more than a project—it’s a chance to directly impact lives and create something lasting in the community.

Real talk…

Building Nikki’s House hasn’t been easy.

There are moments where it feels overwhelming, where progress is slow, and where I question how everything is going to come together.

But every conversation, every connection, every small step forward reminds me why this matters.

This isn’t just an idea — this is something that can change lives.

And I’m not giving up on it. 💜

Thank you to everyone who’s still here, supporting and believing in this vision.

Do you know someone who has gone through the system? How did they turn out? Did they struggle or have family? Comment your thoughts below. We're here to listen. 💜

🏡 Welcome to Nikki’s House

Nikki’s House was created to support young adults aging out of the foster care system.

Every year, thousands of young people turn 18 and suddenly lose the only system they’ve ever known. Many face adulthood alone — without stable housing, guidance, or a support network.

Nikki’s House exists to change that.

Our mission is to create housing and support programs that give young adults aging out of foster care a safe place to land, rebuild stability, and begin building their future.

We are currently in the early stages of building Nikki’s House and have already taken several important steps:

✔ Officially listed in the IRS nonprofit database
✔ Federal registration submitted through SAM.gov (currently awaiting approval)
✔ Building partnerships and planning for future housing and support services

This mission will take a community.

If you believe every young person deserves a chance to succeed, we invite you to follow the journey, share our mission, and help us build something that changes lives.

💙 Together we can create a place where no young adult is left behind.

Follow Nikki’s House to stay updated as we build this vision.

Big milestone for Nikki’s House today! 🏡💙💜

We are officially listed in the IRS nonprofit database. That means Nikki’s House is now recognized as a registered nonprofit organization.

Our next step is federal registration. We have submitted our application to SAM.gov and are currently waiting for approval. Once that process is complete, we will be able to apply for federal grants and funding to support young adults aging out of foster care.

Building a nonprofit is a long process behind the scenes, and sometimes progress happens quietly through paperwork and approvals. But every step moves us closer to our goal: creating safe housing and support for young people who need a place to land when the system lets go.

Thank you to everyone who continues to believe in this mission and follow the journey of Nikki’s House. We’re just getting started. 💙💜
