Our local is supporting both of these rides. Dylan was a father, Union brother, and Laporte Serviceman that passed away last year. USW 6787 annual poker run is benefiting our locked out brothers and sisters at 7-1. If available please take the time to attend these events.

We are disappointed and angry on behalf of our members and the customers who felt the impact of recent prolonged outages and management decisions. We believe these delays were the direct result of management choosing to limit our members’ hours, thus reducing the workforce available to keep operations running safely and efficiently. This amounts to a willful violation, in our view, of our newly signed CBA and we will be pursuing every avenue to make this right, grievance procedure and beyond.

Our members are ready and willing to work. We will continue fighting for the hours, staffing, and resources required to deliver the level of service our community expects — and that our members are fully capable of providing.
