2026 Conference Class Photo!

Thank you to everyone who attended this year’s conference and helped make it a great success. This event brought together law enforcement leaders from across Missouri to train, collaborate, share ideas, and build professional relationships that strengthen our agencies and communities.

Be sure to sign up for next year’s conference and take advantage of the opportunity to learn from leaders from all over the state, exchange experiences, and gain valuable training. Make sure to tell your friends and fellow officers about the conference as well. This event isn’t just for chiefs or supervisors—it is open to all Missouri POST-certified law enforcement officers who are looking to expand their knowledge, network with peers, and enhance their professional development.

Today we wrapped up the conference with Chief Deputy Coates, Major Lorenson, Dr. Blair, and Training Director Weber presenting on Social Media in Law Enforcement.

We had a great week of training, networking, and professional development, and we are already looking forward to an even larger gathering next year!

Day 3 of the class kicked off with Internal Investigations, led by Dr. Blair and Major Lorenson.

We wrapped up the day with Missouri Police Law, instructed by our Head Instructor Joe Weber alongside Chief Coonce.

Another strong day of training and discussion, covering critical legal and investigative topics for law enforcement professionals.

Day 2 of the Missouri Federation of Police Chiefs Conference is underway. Chief Deputy Kevin Coates and Joe Weber kicked off the morning’s training, and today’s agenda includes an important session on racial profiling, along with other topics focused on professionalism, leadership, and effective policing.

Day 1 of the Missouri Federation of Police Chiefs Conference is in the books!

Today’s training covered Tactical Medicine, Free Air Sniff K-9 Case Law, Quo Warranto Authority, Nepotism in Public Office, and Missouri Police Chief Law. A big thank you to retired Lt. Joe Weber, retired Captain Chris Cooley, Dr. Lan Fotopoulos, and Major Andy Lorenson for sharing their expertise.

We’re looking forward to another great day tomorrow with Chief Deputy Kevin Coates leading the instruction.

And before anyone asks, this conference isn’t just for Chiefs. Officers, Deputies, Detectives, Supervisors, and Command Staff are all welcome.

You’ll also have the opportunity to purchase an official Missouri Federation polo, win door prizes, and enjoy everything Branson has to offer during National Law Enforcement Week.

Picture Day will be the second day of class and will take place in the morning.

On the first day of training, and throughout the week, polos featuring our logo will be available for purchase. We ask that attendees wear business casual attire with a polo shirt (it does not have to be a Federation polo) or their agency uniform if preferred for picture day.

We are looking forward to an outstanding week of training with speakers bringing a wide range of knowledge and experience from throughout their careers. One of the training sessions will include a tabletop exercise, so be sure to bring your problem-solving skills and be ready to participate.
