During his Air Force career, Steven served at Luke AFB, Arizona, Osan AB, Korea, Spangdahlem AB, Germany, and Robins AFB, Georgia.

His deployments included Prince Sultan AB, Saudi Arabia, Baghdad IAP, Iraq, Al Udeid AB, Qatar, Camp Bastion, Afghanistan, Kandahar AB, Afghanistan, and McMurdo Station, Antarctica.

Steven continues serving the veteran community as Adjutant of VFW Post 7760.

Margaritaville at Sea offers a Heroes Sail Free program that may provide free cruise fare for eligible military members and veterans on select sailings.

Eligibility is typically available to U.S. active-duty military, veterans, and other qualifying heroes through GOVX verification.

Doug served 22 years in the United States Navy as an Aviation Electrician. During his military career, he completed 5 cruises to Vietnam aboard the USS Coral Sea and USS Oriskany.

𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐮𝐞𝐝 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞
Doug continues serving today as Senior Vice Commander of VFW Post 7760. He has also remained active in honor guard duties and fills in on the American Legion honor guard when needed.

𝐅𝐮𝐧 𝐅𝐚𝐜𝐭
Doug worked on the flight deck for 17 years. He worked 1 year on the Diego Garcia.

What It Offers
Honor Flight Network provides veterans with free trips to Washington, D.C. to visit the memorials built in honor of their service and sacrifice.

Who Qualifies
Priority is typically given to World War II, Korean War, and Vietnam veterans.

What to Know
Trips often include transportation, meals, and support throughout the journey. Some regional hubs may have waitlists due to demand.
