Twelve Baskets Food Pantry Twelve Baskets is a nonprofit organization that began in June 2014. We serve over 180 families every week and are based on the honor system.

100% donor-dependent food pantry that serves over 600 families a week through our weekly grocery distribution, Fresh Market Tuesdays, and senior baskets delivered once a month. We are a non-profit 501c3 food pantry serving the communities in Portage, Schoolcraft, Vicksburg, and Three Rivers. During the last hour of our distributions, we open to ALL who need groceries. Twelve Baskets is 100% self f

unded and volunteer based organization. We are currently accepting:

1) Fresh, frozen, and non-perishable foods
2) Home care and paper products
3) Laundry, personal care and baby care items
over the counter medications. All food and non-food items must be sealed/have packaging still intact, and must not be expired, for health and personal safety reasons. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions/comments or if you are interested in volunteering or donating, contact us. If you are struggling to feed your family, stop by on a distribution day with your photo ID, get registered and receive your food that same day. See what we've been up to in our photo gallery.

GROCERY DISTRIBUTION today for our neighbors in need!!

The parking lot opens today at 9 am for grocery distribution lineup. Please do not arrive early. Thank you for observing our lineup procedures below for everyone's safety.

Distribution begins at 10 am.

10 am to Noon: Portage, Vicksburg, Schoolcraft, Three Rivers residents

11:45 to 12:45 p.m.: Surrounding communities

If a LOT FULL sign is being held up by a parking attendant as you approach the parking lot, please pass and to return.

Once you enter the lot, our parking attendants will direct you to the correct line.

Please note that only one family per household address is eligible; multiple families residing in the same household must register under a single name.

Each household is permitted to collect groceries twice a month on their chosen distribution days.

Service is limited to two recipients or families per vehicle from different households.

This is a drive-thru process; please arrive with an empty trunk and remain in your vehicle at all times.

RIGHT TURN only onto Portage Rd. as you exit the parking lot.

Twelve Baskets Food Pantry is very thankful for the $8,440 that was raised during the 2026 Simply Give Campaign from Meijers’s Store #196- Shaver Rd. Portage. The pantry will receive this value in food only gift cards that will help us to purchase food assistance to 500 or more families being served weekly.

The generous contributions were made by Meijer customers, vendor partners, Meijer corporate donations, and a special $1.5 million donation as part of this year’s Meijer LPGA Classic!
