📢 IMPORTANT ORIENTATION UPDATE

If you were scheduled to attend NEO Adult Education & Training orientation on Monday, August 24, please do not come to orientation on August 24.

Our intake and orientation schedule has been moved to the week of August 31–September 4.

👉 You will need to choose a new orientation date that works for you during the week of August 31–September 4.

How to reschedule:

2️⃣ Select a new orientation date during the week of August 31–September 4

⚾ A Great Night at the Ballpark! ⚾

We had a fantastic time at Nonprofit Night with the Gary SouthShore RailCats! Our NEO Adult Education & Training and Options New Vistas High School staff enjoyed getting out into the community, meeting new people, and sharing more about the opportunities we offer.

And of course, no night at the ballpark would be complete without a visit from Rusty! 🐾⚾ We were excited to grab a photo and make some great memories along the way.

A big thank you to the RailCats for welcoming local nonprofits and giving organizations like ours the opportunity to connect with the community. We appreciate being part of such a fun evening!

We love getting out of the classroom and into the community. 💙

A Message from the NEO Center

We know our community is still recovering from last week’s severe weather, and some of our families are still without power or dealing with damage and repairs. We understand that this has been a difficult week, and we are thinking of you as you continue through the cleanup and recovery.

🏫 Options New Vistas High School (ONVHS)
School will be in session tomorrow, Monday, August 17. We know that returning to a regular school routine may feel a little different right now, but we are looking forward to welcoming our students back and getting the new school year moving forward together.

📚 NEO Adult Education & Training
If the storm interrupted your final week of the summer session, we encourage you to return to class this week. We know last week didn’t go as planned, and we want to give you the opportunity to get back into the classroom and finish the summer session strong.

📝 NEO Testing Center
If you were scheduled to take the HiSET last week, our Testing Coordinator will be reaching out to you directly to reschedule your exam. You do not need to worry about contacting us first.

Most importantly, please continue to take care of yourselves, your families, and your neighbors as our community recovers. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work together to get back to our regular routines.
