🎉 ONVHS EARNED AN A! 🎉

We’re proud to share that Options New Vistas High School (ONVHS) earned a 3.5 rating from Trine University! And as our principal put it, that’s like earning an A! 💙

This achievement is worth celebrating, and our students made sure we did it in style! They created a special banner to recognize the accomplishment, filling it with messages of encouragement, signatures, artwork, and plenty of school pride. ❤️

This is what makes our ONVHS community special. We celebrate our successes, encourage one another, and recognize the hard work that goes into reaching our goals.

Congratulations to our students, staff, and everyone who makes ONVHS a place where students can belong, believe in themselves, and achieve great things. This is an accomplishment we can all be proud of!

At ONVHS, we really do high school differently. And today, we have another reason to celebrate! 🥳

This message from one of our students is a powerful reminder that progress doesn’t always come easy. Sometimes it looks like working two jobs, showing up when you’re tired, and choosing to keep going when life gets busy.

Your goals are worth showing up for. 🎓 Whether you’re working toward your HSE, building your English skills, or earning a career certification, every step counts. You don’t have to have it all figured out. You just have to keep moving forward.

One of our NEO teachers has a Motivation Board outside his classroom where students can share the words, goals, and reminders that keep them going. We love seeing that encouragement grow! 💪

During Adult Education and Family Literacy Week, we want to take a moment to celebrate the incredible teachers who make a difference in the lives of our students every single day.

Our teachers do so much more than teach reading, math, English, or GED preparation. They encourage students when the journey feels difficult. They celebrate milestones, big and small. They create welcoming classrooms where students feel supported, respected, and capable of achieving their goals.

They meet students where they are and help them discover where they can go next.

Whether they're helping a student earn their High School Equivalency diploma, improve their English skills, prepare for a career, or build confidence in their abilities, our teachers bring patience, compassion, expertise, and dedication to their work every day.

It's Adult Education and Family Literacy Week! 🎉

This week, we celebrate the many ways education helps people move forward.

At NEO, we believe learning doesn't look the same for everyone. Some students are earning their high school equivalency diploma. Some are building English language skills. Some are preparing for careers. Others are working toward a traditional high school diploma through ONVHS.

Different goals. Different journeys. Different opportunities.

But one thing remains the same: everyone deserves access to education that helps them take their next step.

This week, we'll be celebrating adult education, family literacy, lifelong learning, and the importance of having options.
