Portage High School Dollars for Scholars needs you!

Our chapter is looking for Portage High School alumni and community members who would like to be part of an organization that delivers tens of thousands of dollars in scholarships annually to Portage High School students. This is a great opportunity to give back to Portage High School and show your support for current students. Our volunteer board holds meetings twice a year, in the fall and the spring. Currently, those meetings are held virtually.

We are looking for a new treasurer with experience in bookkeeping or accounting, along with a new board member. If you have interest in any of these positions, please send us a message below and we will get back to you.

Many higher education institutions require a completed FAFSA to award both need- and merit-based scholarships. More than $350 million is available this year in state financial aid through FAFSA filing, according to the Indiana Commission for Higher Education.

The Free Application for Federal Student Aid, better known as FAFSA, opened Tuesday, helping connect students with their share of billions of available dollars in federal financial aid.
