There are few things more important than investing in the next generation.
This year, our local American Heritage Girls Troop is blessed to already have 60 amazing girls registered for this Fall! Every month, these girls gather to grow in their faith, build leadership skills, serve their community, and form genuine, Christ-centered friendships that we pray will last a lifetime.
Each family pays $20 in annual Troop Dues, but those dues only cover the basic cost of our monthly meetings—supplies like paper, crayons, pencils, crafts, games, and activities.
We could charge families more. But instead, we want this Troop to be as low cost as possible, so that any family who wants to join is able to!
Beyond our monthly Troop Meetings, we strive to create a year filled with opportunities that encourage girls to grow in character, confidence, and compassion. Throughout the year, our troop:
❤️ Participates in monthly fellowship events that help build lasting friendships.
🤍 Serves our community through 2–3 service projects each month, including blessing nursing home residents, encouraging local first responders and service members, and meeting other needs in our community.
đź’™ Participates in local parades, representing Christ and our troop with joy.
❤️ Hosts a whole-family bonfire in October, bringing families together for fellowship and fun.
🤍 Mother-Daughter Tea Party in February, creating meaningful memories and strengthening family relationships.
đź’™ We hope to provide an American Heritage Girls T-shirt for each of our 60 girls, giving them a sense of belonging and something to proudly wear while serving and representing our Troop in the community.
AHG Annual Program Support Fee : $1,200
AHG Annual Chartering Fee : $195
The total cost of providing these experiences and covering the AHG Fees throughout the year is approximately $5,600.
We believe this investment reaches far beyond events and T-shirts. We are helping raise a generation of girls who know they are deeply loved by God, who desire to serve others with humility, who lead with integrity, and who develop friendships rooted in Christ.
