The piece of trail between the Nick Curtis Trail and the campground, known as the Campground Trail, will be closed on Tuesday, September 1st and Wednesday September 2nd. This post will be updated when the trail has been reopened.

The Acadian Heritage Trail, around the 12 mile marker, will be CLOSED tomorrow, Saturday, August 1st for some trail reconstruction. Thank you for your cooperation!

It's a perfect opportunity to catch up with old friends, make new ones, and enjoy the serene beauty of our beloved lake. Our next Monthly Meeting is Wednesday, July 1st at 6:30pm at The Portage Lake Town Hall. All are welcome!

We will be opening most of our trails on Friday afternoon. Sterling Brook area will remained CLOSED due to wet conditions. These trials will be marked with ribbon and signage. The Buffalo Loop trail has some detours due to wet spots which are all marked. We are unable to connect to Eagle Lake at this time due to Spruce Budworm spraying. Please use 4wd where needed. Please remember to ride safe and stay on marked trails!

Our trails are currently closed due to wet conditions. We plan to open them, hopefully, for Memorial Weekend. We will update in the next couple of weeks.
