🌿 Help Us Spruce Up LCE for the New School Year! 🧹

Calling all LCE families and student volunteers! Before our kids step foot back on campus, let's join forces to make Lake Center look its absolute best.

We are hosting a "Spruce Up Lake Center" grounds cleanup event, and we’d love your help! Whether you can stay for 30 minutes or the full time, every helping hand makes a difference.

🗓 When: Monday, August 24th | 5:30 PM – 7:00 PM

📍 Where: Lake Center Elementary (Meet at the main entrance)

🛠 What We’ll Be Doing: Pulling w**ds, w**d whipping, trimming back overgrown beds, and repainting a few outdoor fixtures!

🧤 What to Bring: Please bring your own work/gardening gloves and your favorite lawn or garden tools (w**d whackers, rakes, shovels, hand w**ders, etc.). Please label your tools with your name!

Kids are welcome to come help and show pride in their school! Let’s work together to give our campus a fresh start for fall. See you there! 💙⚓️

What an incredible day! We want to extend a massive thank you to all of our amazing students, teachers, staff, volunteers, and families who came together to make Field Day 2026 an absolute success. Events like this simply aren’t possible without the energy, teamwork, and dedication of our entire school community.

Field Day is such a special tradition because it gives our students a wonderful opportunity to embrace physical activity, enjoy the fresh air, and bond with their classmates outside the traditional classroom setting. Seeing the smiles, the high-fives, and the fantastic team spirit was the perfect way to celebrate the final weeks of the school year.

Thank you to everyone who cheered, organized, ran stations, and supported our students. Together, we made memories that will last long after the school year ends!

Last Friday we celebrated the last day of the LCE Staff Appreciation Circus with lunch from Olga’s! A special thank you to our sponsors Kwong Orthodontics, PC, Blanchard Body Shop, LLC, and Travel With Nikki Miller who helped us treat the entire staff to lunch to end the week!
