Congratulations to JAYLA KELLEY and JONATHAN EDWARDS! The recently graduated high school seniors were each presented a $1,000 college scholarship from our chapter today!

🎓JAYLA graduated from Portage Central High School with a 4.54 GPA. She plans to attend Howard University to major in art and business. She is inspired by a quote used by the late actor Chadwick Boseman that was popularized by African-American playwright and civil rights activist Lorraine Hansberry: “To be young, gifted and Black.” Jayla is the daughter of Toya Taylor and Marquis Taylor.

🎓JONATHAN graduated from Kalamazoo Central High School with a 3.5 GPA. He will attend Aquinas College, where he plans to pursue a degree in pre-athletic training. Jonathan draws inspiration from Psalm 20:4: “May He give you the desire of your heart and make all your plans succeed.” He is the son of Johnny and Rhonda Edwards.

The ladies of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated's Rho Theta Zeta Chapter announced our scholarship recipients at the annual National Pan-Hellenic Council of Kalamazoo (NPHC) Community Scholarship Celebration at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Kalamazoo, Michigan.

Rho Theta Zeta's scholarship program is funded through our Dove Foundation.

One of the highlights of this year’s Memorial Day Parade was marching shoulder to shoulder with our new youth group!

The young ladies got to not only witness how to care for community, but to be part of demonstrating it themselves!

We traversed downtown Kalamazoo, Michigan’s streets with our Sigma brothers and other NPHC of Kalamazoo fraternities and sororities to honor those who paid the ultimate price for our freedom.

Great job Charlie's PLACE with the parade!
