Face painting was new for one of our board members this year and it looks like it was a great success! Looks like something will be adding again next year. Great job Bethany!

2026 Portage Area Summerfest Starts as an empty Park to Vendors setting up their booths to crowds of people coming to enjoy the Crafters, Food Trucks, Bands, Basket Raffles, Dime Pitch, Face Painting, Bouncy Houses, Games, Golf Ball Hunt, Miscellaneous Vendors, and so much more…
There’s a lot planning and preparing for each and every year to have Summerfest here in Portage PA. The board of directors and committee members (a group of 7) meet once a month for 9 months to discuss plans for the next years Summerfest, then closer to the event we meet every two weeks then once a week for the next 4 weeks. Our meetings usually last 2-3 hours. We are all volunteers, we all have full time jobs, own businesses and have families. We always could use more committee members, but even with the little group that we are, we get it done! It all comes together each & every year. We all have our hearts in the planning and every year we are happy to bring SUMMERFEST to the Portage Community.

💚THANK YOU FROM PORTAGE AREA SUMMERFEST! 💚

What a weekend! As we wrap up another Portage Area Summerfest, we just want to take a minute to say THANK YOU to everyone who helped make this year such a great one.

To everyone who came out, brought your families, supported our vendors, enjoyed the entertainment, and spent part of your weekend with us, thank you! Seeing so many people together, having fun and enjoying the festival is exactly why we do this.

A huge thank you to ALL of our volunteers who gave their time and worked behind the scenes to make everything happen. Our little group puts a lot of time, work, and heart into Summerfest, and we truly couldn't do it without everyone who steps up to help us along the way.

And to all of our sponsors, thank you for believing in Summerfest and supporting our community. Your generosity helps make this festival possible, and we are incredibly grateful for each and every one of you.

This year turned out better than we could have hoped, and seeing everyone enjoying themselves made all the hard work worth it. We are so thankful that you chose to come out and enjoy Summerfest with us.

We may be a little group, but we have a whole lot of love for this community. 💚 And after a weekend like this, we couldn't be more excited about what the future holds for Portage Area Summerfest!
