PLX Bass Masters 1st Qualifier at Mosquito Creek Lake 04/19/26

Perfect spring morning on Mosquito. Plenty of fish were caught throughout the day, but the bigger bites were hard to come by for most of the field. A few anglers, however, managed to crack the code, including Boater Joe Kohler, who secured the top Boater spot with a strong 12.45 # bag. Seasoned Co‑Angler Brian Kromi put together an impressive 11.80 # bag to win the Co‑Angler Division, that included a Co-Angler BB toad at 5.05 #. On the Boater side, Don Prosise claimed Boater BB honors with a 4.87 # beaut. Congratulations to all the anglers. Way to kick off our 2026 season!

PLX Bass Masters Classic at Portage 09-21-25

8 teams competed in this year's championship. The last-place Co-Angler in points for the season chose their Boater for the day. Each team with the biggest bag of five fish takes the win. Boater Chris Milne and Co-Angler Chris Langenfeld eked out just enough pounds of fish to become the 2025 season champs. Jeff Mauck found the biggest bass, at 4.30 pounds. Congratulations to the winners and to all for another day of competitive fishing.

PLX Bass Masters 6th Qualifier at Mosquito 9/7/25

Tough day on the water for our final qualifier of the season. The fish weren't participating, and the wind didn't help matters. It was a grind for everyone, but still better than being at work. In the Boater division, Ries Parvin earned the first place finish with a 7.82 # bag. The Boater BB went to Chris Milne at 3.03 #. Co-Angler Amos Menard took first place with 3.91 #, that included the BB at 2.9 #. Congratulations to everyone for a great season.

PLX Bass Masters 5th Qualifier 08/10/25 at
Portages Lakes.

13 boats competed in Sunday's event at Portage.
With one more qualifier left for this season,
all 22 anglers gave it their all for the chance
to take the belt. In the Boater Division, Andy Berger was on them and brought in his personal best bag
at Portage with 19.39 #, that included the BB at
5.14 #. Chris Langenfeld topped the Co-Angler division
with a 8.44 #. Aidan Winkhart won the BB for the
Co-Anglers with 3.83 #. Congrats to all the top
finishers.
