A year ago last June, I was standing on this stage trying to hold back tears as I was crowned Mrs. Georgia America by the kindest woman ever, Ana Bowers.

I had no idea that moment would lead to becoming Mrs. America, but deep in my bones I thought it could be possible.

This weekend, I return to the very place where it all began—and what a full-circle moment it is.

Looking at this photo, I can still feel the excitement, gratitude, and honor of that night. Yet this time, I get to stand on the other side of the journey and help crown the next Mrs. Georgia America.

My heart is full of gratitude for every lesson, every friendship, and every opportunity this year has brought.

I can’t wait to celebrate the woman whose life is about to change forever. ❤️👑

The Miss America Scholarship Foundation is proud to announce a new higher education partnership with Troy University in Troy, Alabama! 🎓✨

Through this incredible partnership, all Miss America and Miss America’s Teen State Titleholders in Cycles 2027 and 2028 will receive a four-year renewable scholarship covering undergraduate tuition, fees, and on-campus housing at Troy University.

For out-of-state recipients, this opportunity is valued at up to $130,000 over four years! Another powerful step in expanding access to higher education through scholarship.

Now is the time to select your platform topic and begin learning everything you can about that topic. The Miss America Opportunity refers to the platform as your social impact initiative. It answers the question what can you do personally to make a difference in your community, in your city and in the world around you?

Port Wentworth’s own Mrs. Stand Up For America 🇺🇸 Queen was busy in the community this week! Wednesday, Mrs. Jincy Hinely volunteered at a local food pantry in Springfield. Thursday, she worked in the assembly line of volunteers packing food bags at Effingham Backpack Buddies. 🎒 Friday, she read to a
Pre-K and Kindergarten class at a local elementary school. 📚
She loved answering questions, taking pictures with locals and informing the community about the pageant for 2027! 👑
