Alvan Petrus Park Is Now Open

New this year, Alvan Petrus Park in Port Washington will host its very first National Night Out from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, August 2, 2022

“National Night Out has served to bridge relationships between our residents, law enforcement, local government, and local businesses for decades, and I am so excited that we are finally getting our very own National Night Out celebration in Port Washington,” said Council Member Dalimonte. “It provides an opportunity for families, friends, and neighbors to learn about organizations and services in our Town, while also serving as an important forum to cultivate relationships between our residents, our police force, and elected officials. I hope that many residents throughout Port Washington will join us for our inaugural National Night Out at Petrus Park.”

These events were made possible through partnerships with many community organizations.
